Esta obra está dividida en dos partes. En la primera parte se presenta un acercamiento crítico a la obra de Juan García Salazar acompañado del primer intento de realizar una biografía del autor, un elemento clave si queremos conocer el desarrollo de su pensamiento. La segunda parte del libro presenta algunos de los trabajos más destacados del grupo de estudiantes con el que puse en marcha esta asignatura como docente de la PUCE Sede Esmeraldas. Lean estos ensayos como las conclusiones de un proceso de reflexión y crítica común que tuvo lugar en el transcurso del semestre. Los textos elegidos son los guardianes de la memoria colectiva del proceso de aprendizaje que se dio en el aula.
