Faced with these challenges, it is crucial to implement prevention strategies, such as strict regulations, sustainable agricultural practices and awareness-raising campaigns. Decontamination of polluted sites must also be a priority, using methods such as phytoremediation and soil stabilization. The mobilization of everyone, from governments to citizens, is essential to reduce cadmium exposure and ensure a safer, healthier future for all.
