Most cursive workbooks are written for seven-year-olds. This one is not.Cursive handwriting disappeared from many classrooms two decades ago, and anentire generation left school without ever learning it. Others learned it once, abandoned it somewhere around high school, and are left with a hand that nolonger does what they ask of it. This workbook is built for both groups:teenagers who were never taught, and adults who want to rebuild a skill theyhalf remember. The approach is deliberately unhurried. Every page follows the same four steps, printed at the front of the book and repeated throughout: look at the model, trace the dotted version, copy it on the next line, then write it once more withthe model covered. Nothing is decorative. There are no cartoons, no mascots andno filler pages. The book opens with a writing sample, so the reader can see where they started, and closes with a progress section that invites a direct comparison. Betweenthem, ten sections move in a deliberate order: warm-up movements, the lowercasealphabet letter by letter, the letter connections that most workbooks skipentirely, capital letters, vocabulary grouped by the joins it teaches, numbersand everyday details, sentence work, practical writing tasks such as notes andshort lists, and finally longer paragraphs. What is inside:One focused page per letter, lowercase and capitals, with a solid model, adotted tracing version and blank ruled linesConnection drills covering the joins that break most handwritingWord practice organised by letter pairing rather than random vocabularySentence pages that move from traced to freehandEveryday writing tasks: dates, headings, lists, notes and paragraphsA starting sample and a closing progress reviewAn alphabet reference page for checking a letter form at any point130 pages in a generous 8.5 x 11 inch format, with line spacing sized for adult handwriting. The handwriting models use a classic American school cursive with loopedascenders, joined letters and full cursive capitals, so what the readerpractises here matches the hand most people in the United States were taught.Suitable for independent practice, homeschool use, classroom support and adultlearners returning to handwriting after many years away.
