El hombre, la bestia y la virtud es una comedia de Luigi Pirandello, estrenada en 1919. La obra gira en torno a un triángulo amoroso entre Paolino, un profesor respetable, el Capitán Perella, un marido rudo e infiel y la señora Perella, una mujer reprimida pero virtuosa. Paolino mantiene una relación secreta con la señora Perella, quien queda embarazada. A lo largo de la obra, Pirandello juega con el engaño, la moralidad y el contraste entre las apariencias sociales y la realidad oculta de los personajes.
