Perante as situações de stress vividas pelos manipuladores de radioterapia no seu ambiente de trabalho oncológico, são adoptadas estratégias de adaptação psicológica para preservar o seu bem-estar profissional e garantir a qualidade dos cuidados. Neste estudo, avaliámos essas estratégias e determinámos a sua eficácia. O nosso estudo envolveu manipuladores de radioterapia que trabalham em diferentes instituições. Os dados foram recolhidos utilizando a versão francesa validada do W.C.C., que avalia três tipos de estratégias psicológicas de coping: coping centrado no problema, coping centrado na emoção e coping de procura de apoio social. As pontuações de coping foram calculadas e analisadas de acordo com as caraterísticas da população em estudo.
