Este livro resulta da dissertação de mestrado de Kildren Pantoja Rodrigues, intitulada “Propriedade Intelectual como instrumento do Etnodesenvolvimento: Oportunidades na Região imediata Soure-Salvaterra, Marajó, Pará”, orientada pelo Professor Doutor André Cutrim Carvalho, defendida e aprovada em 2022, no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Gestão dos Recursos Naturais e Desenvolvimento Local na Amazônia, em âmbito do Núcleo de Meio Ambiente da Universidade Federal do Pará. O trabalho recebeu menção honrosa à sua execução pela banca de avaliação presidida pelo orientador da pesquisa, em concordância com as demais Professoras que constituíram a banca: Prof.ª Dr.ª Maria do Socorro Almeida Flores, do Núcleo de Meio Ambiente da Universidade Federal do Pará; e Prof.ª Dr.ª Carmelita de Fátima Amaral Ribeiro, da Universidade do Estado do Pará, Campus XIX, Salvaterra, Marajó. O livro agora é publicado pelo Grupo Acadêmico Produção do Território e Meio Ambiente da Amazônia – GAPTA, da Universidade Federal do Pará, com intuito de contribuir com as análises sobre a dinâmica territorial do desenvolvimento, questões referentes ao meio ambiente amazônico e a gestão territorial urbana e rural na Amazônia, produzindo reflexões que possam contribuir com o avanço do conhecimento neste espaço tão rico em sua sociobiodiversidade.
