A adesão aos anticonvulsivantes por crianças com epilepsia é super importante, porque várias pesquisas mostram que a epilepsia é uma doença que dá para tratar em 70% dos pacientes que tomam os remédios convencionais por um período de 2 a 5 anos. Mas, para conseguir uma adesão total, é preciso o trabalho conjunto dos profissionais de saúde, pais/responsáveis e pacientes. Este trabalho analisou o nível de adesão em crianças e os fatores que afetam esse nível. É uma informação importante para profissionais de saúde e pais ou responsáveis de crianças com epilepsia.
