La ritenzione di fiamma è stata conferita al materiale di cotone cellulosico utilizzando la linfa di pseudogambo di banana (BPS) e il succo di spinacia oleracea (SJ), prodotti naturali ecologici. Il succo estratto è stato reso alcalino mediante l’uso di alcune sostanze chimiche e poi applicato a un tessuto di cotone sbiancato utilizzando un mangano per imbottiture. Le proprietà di resistenza alla fiamma dei tessuti trattati e non trattati sono state analizzate in termini di indice di ossigeno limitato (LOI), test di infiammabilità e risultati di microscopia elettronica a scansione (SEM). Inoltre, la sua applicazione produce un colore naturale sul tessuto.Allo stesso modo, la ritardabilità della fiamma è stata conferita al materiale di cotone cellulosico utilizzando il borace; il rivestimento antifiamma è stato applicato a un tessuto di cotone sbiancato utilizzando un mangano per imbottiture. Quindi sono state analizzate le proprietà ignifughe del tessuto trattato e di quello non trattato in termini di indice di ossigeno limitato (LOI), test di infiammabilità e risultati della microscopia elettronica a scansione (SEM).
