The honeybee (Apis mellifera) is an insect belonging to the Hymenoptera order. It plays an important role in plant biodiversity and the balance of nature. It is considered a biological marker that alerts us to the state of the natural environment, and contributes to the cultivation of a large number of species. This insect is threatened by parasitic attacks such as varroa mite.Varroasis is a parasitic disease caused by the ectoparasite Varroa jacobsoni. To combat the varroa mite, beekeepers use conventional methods that are harmful to both bees and the environment. This work is part of a major research project to develop the scientific value of medicinal plants.
