Well-designed interdisciplinary exchanges undeniably enrich the practices of all those involved, provided that transparency and non-hierarchical partnership are the order of the day. Reinforcing each person’s specific skills is another necessary factor in fostering appropriate interdisciplinarity: the clearer the professional is about his or her competencies, the more benevolent and welcoming he or she can be towards his or her partners, to the greater benefit of the users, whether students or patients.
