This book is associated with a set of linked open-access resources produced for the 'Remediating Stevenson' project, which was funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (UK). It explores the legacies of the Pacific writing and travels of Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson, investigating the relevance of his work to contemporary readers and communities in Hawaiʻi, Sāmoa, and Scotland. The book presents the novella 'The Beach of Falesā', and the two novelettes 'The Bottle Imp' and 'The Isle of Voices', along with an introduction by Michelle Keown and the original nineteenth-century illustrations from the first edition.
