La «luz artificial» es la metáfora que cobra mayor importancia a lo largo de este poemario; no obstante, esta figura traspasa múltiples dimensiones, entre las que se encuentran la nostalgia, la recuperación del pasado y la restauración de los recuerdos, mientras que se exploran de una manera directa los límites del lenguaje poético y la entrada al mundo de un lenguaje personal.
