Laugh with the Lord

LAST WORD ! Did you laugh ? Smile ? Grimace ? Gnash your teeth ? Good to all of those ! Did you go to sleep ? Then I apologise.The drawings are a little faulty (!), there is no professional gloss. BUT my aim has been to stir emotions.Large churches, medium or small churches, pew-sitters, stay-at-home 'Christians' - this is a wake-up call. A U-turn signal. There is nothing new, where there are messages they are reminders, nudges to your ribs. Gentle finger pointing at churches and individuals. Just ask (or admit) how long ago you witnessed to anyone ! Pick any Church members - include your Pastor if you wish and find out how many did a direct witness in the last month ! Individual witnessing as a church will change that church into a wonderful place.So why cartoons ? Jesus certainly had a sense of humour and even though being a Christian is serious business there is still plenty of room for humour. These cartoons do not make fun of denominations as all who love Jesus are important. There is sadness too, that so many churches have no real plan to enlarge their territories. Christian living is an adventure and can also be adventurous fun. The door is wide open for the greatest adventure in your life. Go back over the cartoons, if any hit home make a note. Add a prayer for that U-turn and accept the challenge. Jesus is calling 'I LOVE YOU' - He waits for you to respond ! Then praise Him and laugh with the Lord for you will never be happier.
