Le désir de l’auteur, en écrivant ce livre, est de doter la communauté chrétienne évangélique d’un manuel pratique sur le rôle de leader et le leadership. Le Leader chrétien a pour but principal d’aider les Pasteurs, ainsi que les autres ouvriers chrétiens travaillant dans des positions de leadership moins élevées, à bien comprendre la notion de leadership dans l’exercice de leur fonction et à les aider à exercer ce leadership avec soin et efficacité. Sa démarche est imprégnée du souci de voir avancer le travail de Dieu, qui, trop souvent, souffre d’un manque chronique de leadership. L’auteur souhaite que l’usage de cet ouvrage répondra à un besoin réel dans ce domaine et qu’il sera d’une utilité commune et appréciable.
