El presente ejemplar tiene por objetivo servir de ayuda a los maestros de educación bilingüe, inglés-español, y a los padres, en la preparación de sus alumnos e hijos respectivamente, para tener una eficiente comprensión de lectura, así como en la creación en el proceso de escritura. Este trabajo presenta en forma separada algunos de los más importantes componentes de un texto narrativo o expositivo, los cuales, generalmente, en el contexto global no son identificables por parte de los estudiantes. Al ser tratados en forma individual, hará que los alumnos puedan identificarlos, con mayor facilidad en un texto, además de saber usarlos cuando escriban sus propias creaciones literarias. This book was written with the objective to help bilingual teachers and parents in preparing children to have an efficient understanding of reading, as well as understanding the writing process. This book presents in different ways some of the most important elements of narrative and expository text, which, generally, are not easily identified by students. Studying each element separately and individually, students will learn how to identify the elements easier in text, as well as how to use these elements in their own literary creations.
