Book 4 in the series. Recommended for children 3 to 8 years old. Mister Mustache is adopting a new pet from the shelter to be a friend for his adorable cat, Gumdrop. Silly Mister Mustache is a kind man who makes a lot of mistakes that youngsters can easily identify and interactively correct. The narrative is wholesome and brief (suitable for early-stage readers), and brightly colored illustrations are found on every page. Children will enjoy the rhythm of the story and studying the many details in each personality-infused picture. They will also LOVE laughing at Mister Mustache’s obvious mistakes and being the ones (instead of grownups, for a change) to get things right! While each book in the series may be read in any order, the stories do build on characters introduced in prior ones.
