Die Größenmessung zeigte, dass der Pfropfprozess zu einer Verringerung der Partikelgröße und einer Vergrößerung der Oberfläche führte. Optische Messungen zeigten eine Zunahme der Energielücke aufgrund der gepfropften Polymere im Vergleich zu ungepfropftem Tetraaminophthalocyanin-Kupfer(II), die durch ihre Partikelgrößen beeinflusst wurden. Dies wirkte sich auch positiv auf ihre thermischen Eigenschaften aus.
