This book, 'Reaction Mechanism and Novel Applications of Some Organic Reactions Containing Electron-Deficient Nitrogen,' is the culmination of an in-depth exploration into the reactivity, mechanistic insight, synthetic utility of these species, and novel applications. The primary objective of this study is not only to dissect the mechanistic pathways through which these reactions proceed but also to highlight their modern adaptations and applications in fields such as pharmaceuticals, materials science, and green chemistry.The objective of this study is to examine selected organic reactions involving electron-deficient nitrogen species, analyze their mechanisms, and highlight their innovative uses in contemporary synthetic applications. Special attention is given to reactions like the Sandmeyer, Curtius, Schmidt, and Staudinger reactions.
