The history of education in ancient India has a prosperous and extraordinary history. It is believed that in the ancient days, the education was imparted verbally by the sages and the scholars and the information was passed on from one generation to the other. After the improvement of writing, it took the form of writing using the palm leaves and the barks of trees. This also helped in spreading the written literature. The neighbourhood centres and the temples created the role of schools. The Gurukuls were the traditional Hindu residential schools of education which were usually in the teacher’s house. Even though the education was free, the students from well-to-do families paid the Gurudakshina which was a unpaid donation after the completion of their studies. At the Gurukuls, the teacher imparted information on a variety of aspects of the religion, the scriptures, the philosophy, the creative writing, the competition, the statecraft, the medicine astrology and the history. This system is representing as the oldest and the most effective system of education.It starts from meaning of education, traditional education system, and wireless education system, the difference between traditional and wireless education system, the role of Wireless Technology also introduced scope of Wireless Technology and various wireless education tools. This chapter also explains approaches to wireless education, integration in teacher. The present growth of the Wireless Technology industry is in a very high growth cycle.
