The biblical authors understood this as they looked Godward in their thinking on warfare: 'Blessed be the LORD, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle' (Psalm 144:1). The goal of this book is to explore how God equips and trains the warrior to navigate the challenges of wearing the uniform.
