No hay dudas de que los mundos educativos y laborales constituyen dos espacios ampliamente debatidos cuando se hace referencia a la problemática de la desigualdad social. Ahora bien, ¿cómo se construyen experiencias en estos espacios?, ¿cómo se articulan estas temporalidades en las biografías de los sujetos?, ¿cómo se vinculan las clases populares con distintos niveles del Estado?’Volver a estudiar’ aborda las experiencias de terminalidad educativa de jóvenes y adultos en el Plan de Finalización de los Estudios Secundarios (FinEs2), prestando especial atención a las formas en que se articulan las dimensiones educativas, laborales y políticas. Se inserta, de esta manera, en discusiones más amplias sobre el desigual acceso a la educación secundaria, la tradición elitista y excluyente de dicho nivel, las posiciones de determinados grupos sociales en el mercado de trabajo y las tensiones por el cumplimiento de derechos considerados universales.Este libro nos invita a repensar una problemática clásica de la sociedad argentina: las desigualdades sociales y las respectivas políticas públicas orientadas a tensionar esta característica. Para ello, se producen un conjunto de desplazamientos donde el sistema educativo, el mundo del trabajo y las gramáticas políticas adquieren protagonismo para comprender las complejidades de las experiencias que atraviesan las clases populares. 10
