El rendimiento académico de los estudiantes en las pruebas Saber se considera como uno de los objetivos del proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje, no obstante, se requiere de la innovación de la pedagogía para mejorar el desempeño en todas las asignaturas. En esta investigación el objetivo fue analizar cómo el currículo y la práctica docente, en opinión de los docentes, contribuyen al rendimiento académico en las pruebas Saber 11 en la IERD Diego Gómez De Mena del municipio de Tabio Cundinamarca, en Colombia, para dejar planteada la posibilidad de una propuesta de intervención pedagógica que aporte a mejorar los resultados de las pruebas en años venideros.
