O autor apresenta, em primeiro lugar, as causas da exclusão das populações congolesas do sistema financeiro, desde o Estado Independente do Congo até aos dias de hoje. Em seguida, descreve a estrutura da procura e da oferta de serviços financeiros. Por fim, propõe o modelo de integração do setor informal no orçamento e no produto interno bruto (MISIB-PIB), como ferramentas que permitem desenvolver um sistema financeiro inclusivo, integrado e acessível a todos.
