La malnutrition aiguë chez les enfants de 6 à 59 mois demeure un problème préoccupant dans la zone de santé de Mosango, en RDC. Ce phénomène est principalement lié à des facteurs nutritionnels comme une alimentation déséquilibrée, un allaitement mal pratiqué, un sevrage inadapté et un manque de diversité alimentaire. Ces carences fragilisent la santé des enfants et augmentent leur vulnérabilité aux malades.Cette étude met en lumière l’impact de ces pratiques sur l’état nutritionnel des enfants et souligne la nécessité d’actions ciblées : éducation nutritionnelle, amélioration de l’accès aux aliments nutritifs et renforcement des soins de santé de base. Le cas de Mosango reflète ainsi un défi national et appelle à une réponse urgente et intégrée pour préserver la santé de plus jeunes.
